How It Works
Six months. Four skills. One plan.
Every learner needs the same four things covered, in this order: words to use, grammar to connect them, ears trained to catch native speech, and enough speaking practice that your mouth stops fighting you.
The six months, roughly
| Month | Focus |
|---|---|
| Month 1 | Survival French — greetings, numbers, family, basic sentences |
| Month 2 | Everyday French — daily routine, food, shopping, original sentences |
| Month 3 | Real conversations — past tense, directions, restaurants, short stories |
| Month 4 | Opinions and plans — talking about yesterday, next year, what you think |
| Month 5 | Functional French — work, banking, housing, government forms |
| Month 6 | CLB 5 prep — timed practice, mock tests, final progress check |
How a normal week runs
Monday: new vocabulary. Tuesday: grammar. Wednesday: listening. Thursday: speaking practice. Friday: reading and writing. Saturday: quiz. Sunday: light review or rest.
One honest note
We can’t promise you’ll hit CLB 5 in six months. Nobody can — it depends on your starting point, your consistency, and how much you actually speak out loud instead of just watching. What we can promise is a real plan and an honest account of whether it worked for us.
